Schizophrenia

Schizophrenia is a one-man musical project out of Bangalore, India, started in July 2007. The music takes elements of modern metal - in particular, progressive - and 70’s prog-rock, and blends it together with generous amounts of classic rock influences and Beatle-sque vocal harmonies to form a wholly new hybrid. Schizophrenia’s first song was demo-ed over January and February 2008, with sole member Vats Iyengar laying down all the instrumental and vocal tracks and production duties handled by Chris Avinash (ex-Angel Dust). At the moment, Vats is looking for other similarly-inclined musicians to form a full-fledged band for the purposes of regular gigging and recording.
